When it comes to setting up a dartboard, the most important items to keep track of are the distance from the throwing line and the height of the board off the ground.
1.Throwing Distance
The official recommended distance to set the dart throwing line is 2.37 meters or 7 feet and 9 1/4 inches. This distance is measured along the floor from the throwing line to the wall the dartboard is mounted on.
2. Height
The proper height to place a dartboard is 173 centimeters, or 5 feet 8 inches, with the measurement running from the floor up to the center of the bull's-eye.
3.Diagonal Distance
To double check your dartboard placement, measure the diagonal distance from the bull's-eye to the throw line.
