Correct diagonal distance is at the end of the chainlink
(check cleanliness and visited condition of chain periodically to insure beads that are not stuck together-which can cause the measurement to be erroneous.
Instruction for steel tip toeline checker
1. stick point center of bull(brass retainer should be touching the board)
2. correct height of 5′8〝is at the connector end closed to the bull
3. correct triangulated distance at the end of the chainlink.
